Almost Done With My First Intentional 7 Day Fast 🥲
Honestly I could cry. I grew up with a parent who included me with fasts at a young age which ultimately screwed up my relationship with my body and food. Before I started I was so nauseous and had abdominal pains every time I ate for months and was so over how I was using food to cope. The clarity I gained from this week was amazing. I needed this more than I thought. I’ve lost 14lbs so far. I was able to keep up with no vaping// 27 days free as of today. I kept up with my water intake and my sodium intake and ultima electrolytes 2x a day and omg pickle juice which really helped even more with preventing the headaches and dizziness I felt on day 1 & 2. Day 4 was the worst, only because my stomach was hungry and not my brain. It’s been a while since I wasn’t emotionally eating or binging. And today was testing me a lot but I will push through. I will say I was a bit cold from time to time but that went away. I only walked maybe 4 times this week but no exercise, I will be more intentional next time. I do have a question. I want to begin rolling 72s. How would I start? Should I wait a bit after this fast or can I start immediately? How should the calorie intake be approached during refeeds? I am doing it for weight loss but also the clarity helped a lot. Thanks in advance.
