Planning to finalize my Honda H’ness CB350 / CB350RS soon and had a few doubts before going ahead. Would really appreciate inputs from experienced owners 🙏

1. Insurance (ICICI Lombard via dealership)

The dealership is offering ICICI Lombard insurance. Should I go with the dealer-provided insurance or is it better to get it separately online? Any pros/cons in terms of claim experience, cost, or add-ons?

2. Accessories – Skid Plate (especially for RS)

They’re recommending a skid plate. Is it actually useful for the CB350, considering mostly city + occasional bad roads? Any real-world benefits or is it unnecessary?

3. Honda ACM & RSA

They are suggesting Honda ACM (Annual Care Maintenance) and RSA (Roadside Assistance – claiming ~300 km radius as per dealership).

- Are these worth taking?

- Has anyone actually used RSA in real situations? How reliable is it?

4. Service Frequency

What’s the actual service schedule you guys follow? (Not just what the showroom says, but real ownership experience)

Would love to hear honest feedback, especially long-term owners. Trying to make a practical decision before delivery.

I'm about to buy my first bike and have been researching for weeks. Narrowed it down to the Honda H'ness CB350 and the TVS Ronin. Before I pull the trigger I wanted to hear from people who actually own and ride these in Hyderabad(any city is fine) specifically not generic reviews.

My riding profile:

-80% city commuting

-20% occasional highway runs Vizag, Araku, Nagarjunasagar kind of trips, roughly once every 2-3 months ↓

- Around 5,000-8000 km per year

- Parking: office basement + bike cover at home

**On the Hiness CB350:**

1. Rust I've read multiple reports of rust appearing within 2-3 months, even on chrome and chassis parts. Has anyone in Hyderabad/or anyplace ele specifically faced this? Does our humidity make it worse than other cities? Does a ceramic coat at delivery actually help long term?

2. Bighing access there are only 3 BigWing outlets in Hyderabad. For those of you not living near one, how painful is it practically? Have you ever been stuck without service when needed?

3. Tata battery I've read it fails suddenly without warning and strands riders. Did this happen to you? Did you proactively replace it or wait for it to fail?

4. City riding does the tall gearing frustrate you in slow Hyderabad traffic, especially in areas like HITEC City, Kukatpally, Mehdipatnam?

5. Bigwing service quality has your experience been consistently good or hit and miss depending on which outlet?

( Please , I humbly request feel free to provide any advice , there is no city constraint).
