How did Robin get hurt physically if Slade was just a hallucination?

So in the episode "Haunted," Robin is fighting with Slade. The catch? Slade died in Terra's volcano earlier. I understand that Robin may just be hallucinating Slade as a result of PTSD, but if that is the case, then how did Robin get so many noticeable physical injuries?

Most of what I saw from that episode was that Robin was stumbling down stairs, or getting thrown into walls (throwing himself into walls). However, those kind of impacts don’t seem severe enough to explain things like a swollen eye, torn clothing, or the sharper cuts and marks on his face.

I understand that Robin got injured from something like a placebo effect, but a placebo effect should not cause the damage that Robin had accumulated that episode. Was Robin just beating himself up while his mind created an illusion of combat in the form of Slade to make sense of the experience? Or was there a chemical agent from Slade as referenced in the end of the episode? And if there was a chemical agent, who powered it? It can't be Slade; he's dead.

(Also, this episode was one of my favorite in all of the show, but I've had this question for a long while)

Who is Red X?

So obviously Robin created the disguise of Red X in the episode "Masks" to try to infiltrate Slade's lair, and this made perfect sense to me. However, after Robin's mission to pursue Slade went terribly wrong, I assumed that the Red X alias would be retired permanently.

However, in the episode "X," someone new then took up the masked identity, and it was never revealed who. It was implied that Red X would come back after his final appearance in "Revved Up," as he said to "Tell Robin we're even...for now," but he never arrived to fulfill the "for now" part.

This confused me profoundly because there was a lot of potential for a Red X redemption arc, (and maybe we could have found out his identity) but this arc never came.

Who is "the new" Red X? Is he heroic or Evil? Why is he such a mystery? I am really confused about his whole character.

What is Terra's ultimate fate?

So initially, I assumed that Terra sacrificed herself to stop the volcano and also end Slade in the process, which ended up turning her into a stone. Terra's fate was very clear and made sense to me, until the final episode... In this episode, Beast Boy finds out Terra is back and alive, but it seems that she has forgot her memories, (and has lost her powers). As Beast Boy tries to talk to Terra to remind her of who she once was, she tells him that she "likes her life the way it is now." Was Terra meant to have another story arc? Was there a plan for her and Beast Boy to get back together? Did she come back to life, and if so, why and how? I am really confused about all of this.

Why was Starfire on friendly terms with Blackfire?

On the episode "Sisters," it is said that Starfire had spoken to Blackfire about "The Titans in her transmissions." But for that to be possible, the two would have had to be on friendly terms. I find this very strange because Blackfire tried to sell Starfire to the Gordanians as alluded to in the Teen Titans Origin episode. I am especially confused as to why Starfire would still be on friendly terms with someone who tried to sell her as a slave.

(also fun fact: Blackfire only appeared in two episodes, and yet I see her as one of the most spoken about characters in the show)
