Tacoma was starting to feel like a birdcage. XLT gets here on Tuesday.

It feels like such a massive upgrade for me, i cant believe i am getting all of this for my tacoma plus 6k.

love my Tacoma and have kept it in fantastic shape but its started feeling so small and I really wanted a full size truck that felt more roomy and luxurious. Also something more practical hauling and towing etc.

Carvana ended up giving me a really strong offer on my trade in. I went and test drove a bunch of f150s and different dealerships and no one came within $5k of carvanas trade in offer, and their trucks seemed to be price very well too. (I know there are risks with what they have going on but the price made it so worth it).

I traded: 2022 Tacoma SR 2WD, 44,000 miles, stock. + $6000 on top.

I am getting: 2023 F150 XLT with upgraded 3.5L V6 eco boost engine. 41,000 miles.

super clean carfax, 1 owner (thought it was a rental). looks like there is barely the tiniest scratch inside and out.

It is my dream color combination as far as both exterior and interior trim, though I may upgrade with Katzkin leather seats.

I will literally be going from a 2.5L v4 to a quazi-raptor engine that goes 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.
