Wedding dress alterations gone wrong? Please help!! - a desperate bride

Hello everyone! (tldr at the bottom)

EDIT: first pic is the dress I tried on at the bridal shop, and the second pic is the dress I bought (secondhand) after alterations have been done to it.

I just picked up my wedding dress from alterations a couple days ago and thought it looked ok, but when I got home and showed it to my mom and friends, they said it looked awful and nothing like the dress I had tried on initially. I have spent the last couple days crying about it lol. I contacted the seamstress last Friday a couple hours after leaving her studio, and she didn't reply to my call or text until today, after I called her a second time. I am going in tomorrow to have her look at it, but I am leaving the area for another state to prep for my wedding in a week and I'm afraid she won't be able to fix it in time. Also, she didn't seem to think anything was wrong with the dress when I tried it on, and kept saying it was perfect. I guess I let her opinion sway how I saw the dress on when I tried it.

Initially, at the first try-on with the seamstress, I felt like something was off and asked her if adding something to the hips would create an illusion of more of a waistline that the first dress had. As you can see, it doesn't seem to have helped, and it just looks lumpy to me (hello, diaper!?). The waist feels like it could be taken in a good 1-2 inches. The upper bodice/cup area also looks different somehow, and really feels unflattering to my chest. I asked her about this in the first appointment, and she kept saying it looked fine and that we should leave it. I want to trust her since she is the expert, but I am just feeling really disappointed, and frankly really ugly in this dress now.

I purchased the dress online from someone who decided she didn't want it, and it is 2 sizes bigger than my size. I'm not sure what size the first dress I tried on was (from the bridal shop).

I am unsure what alterations should be made to help get it closer to the first picture (which is the dress that made me feel beautiful!), but I would love input from those of you who know all about this!

Tysm in advance :)

TLDR; Bought a dress I LOVED secondhand 2 sizes too big, alterations went wrong and now I feel so ugly in it. What went wrong in alterations? or is it something that can't be fixed since the dress bodice is bigger?

Help!!! Alterations gone wrong?!? Wedding in less than 1 month!

Hi guys, (tldr at the bottom, excuse my little rant here!!)

I just picked up my wedding dress from alterations a couple days ago and thought it looked ok, but when I got home and showed it to my mom and friends, they said it looked awful and nothing like the dress I had tried on initially. I have spent the last couple days crying about it lol. I contacted the seamstress and she didn't reply to calls or texts until today. Backstore is that I fell in love with this dress in the store, but it was out of my budget. I was able to find it secondhand online and bought it (2 sizes bigger than my ideal size). I'm not sure what size the dress was that I tried on in the store, but it looked so much better in the bodice. Something feels really off. I know I'm probably just in the overthinking/stress phase, and my self-confidence has been down recently, but i feel SO ugly in this dress now and I'm terrified I won't be able to fix it.

The sides of the dress had some material added because I thought it could help the waist look smaller, but after it was executed, I think it looks awful. And looking back, the reason the waist still looks bigger than it did before is because there's a good 1-2 inches that still need to be taken in.

Am I being a bridezilla? I don't know. I loved this dress before, and I know I shouldn't complain too much because it's still pretty, but I'm trying to figure out what went wrong in alterations. Guys I need your opinions haha! Help meeee am I overthinking this or is this legit a problem?

Tysm in advance :) xoxo love to all of us stressed out brides here

EDIT: first pic is me trying on the dress (Kimora by Evie Young) in a bridal shop, second pic is the same dress I bought secondhand, after alterations have been done to it.
