Looking for OB/GYN recommendations in the Dublin/Tri-Valley area
Hey everyone! We’re newly pregnant and trying to figure out the best OB/GYN in the area. I’ve been doing my research and have shortlisted a few doctors from Sutter Health Dublin (4000 Dublin Blvd) and Stanford Medicine Partners Tri-Valley (Pleasanton/Livermore). Both seem solid based on reviews, but would love to hear from people who’ve actually been patients there!
Specifically curious about:
• Which doctors you’d recommend (or avoid) at either practice?
• How was the overall experience — wait times, how thorough the doctors are, do they take time to answer questions?
• Did you feel well supported during early pregnancy?
Also — is it normal to not get a first ultrasound before 8 weeks? I’ve been calling around and no one seems to offer a scan earlier than that. I’m only around 5-6 weeks and it feels like a long wait. Is this standard practice? Did anyone manage to get an early viability scan (6-7 weeks) and how did you go about it?
