Sellwood Starts - Weekend Plant Giveaway (Sat/Sun)
Hey Folks!
Located in Sellwood, I put my greenhouse out on the street on 21st Ave, between Rex and Knapp with veggie starts for the community. This weekend, it will be up on Sat/Sun at about noon each day (to beat the cold).
I'm back, this week with tomatoes (and a couple extra peppers, herbs, etc that are filling up my racks). I've got Egg from Phuket (adaptive seeds), Purple Cherokee (territorial seeds), Dwarf Confetti (adaptive), Perfect Rouge (adaptive), and Indigo Blueberry (territorial).
Two weeks ago, I gave out 36 herb starts, and the week before I gave away about 20 peppers. Starting Saturday I'll have fifty tomato plants out, and on Sunday I'll be putting out a lot of my spare peps. Jalepeno, Sugar Rush Peach, Lightning Limon, Padron, Buffy, and Prik Cha Fa.
Plants are first-come-first-serve, but I ask that you limit yourself to 2 plants to let the wealth go around. Venmo donations for the soil/containers/fert/my time are of course accepted :).
Growing conditions are completely organic and filled with love.
Drop on by saturday or sunday and grab some plants! I will probably only do one more weekend giveaway, in a couple weeks when I need to pot up again. But if you have any special requests for starts you'd like to see next month or next year, feel free to suggest!
