Bose soundbar 600 stuck in update
Hi, my Soundbar 600 has been stuck in the scrolling from left to right animation for a few days now and nothing I’ve found online has helped. The ONLY thing I’ve been able to make it do other than the scrolling animation is enter recovery mode with the flashing green light, which then goes back to scrolling after 5 minutes.
Here are the things I’ve tried:
- Unplugging for 30 seconds then plugging back in
- Holding Play/Pause and Volume Down on the remote to reset the soundbar, nothing happens
- Holding Mute and Music on the remote which should enter service mode to update via USB cable, it never enters service mode
- Replaced the remote battery
- Turning off my router and entering recovery mode with the green light then trying to find the soundbar on my PCs WiFi list, it doesn’t appear
- Typing “arp -a” into the console terminal and copying the IP addresses that show to “:17008/update.html”, like Bose suggest to do on their support site
If anyone else has had this problem and been able to fix it I’d be very grateful for your advice. Thank you!
