Have roughly 2 months to return our car to Santander PCH and always looked after the car. Just noticed the bonnet has 9 scratches in the clear coat which can be felt with finger nail. Checked with local body shop and they adviced polishing won't get them out.
Unsure how these ended up here and think it might be a something stuck on a microfiber.
Its not visible normally but visible when looked at certain angles. Its only in clear coat.
Santander do not list a cost of repairs as such and still waiting on confirmation on who is picking up the car.
Is this something I should look into fixing. Attached photo of one of the scratches for reference. They are longer than 25mm but not down to primer or basecoat but visible. There ar 7 scratches spread around bonnet and one multiple scratch like the photo attached. It is a bit difficult to get the scratches on photo.
