Post op advice
Edit to Update; Surgery is Monday, and my daughter has rearranged her schedule to be with me throughout and until Thursday morning. I’ve been so anxious and not sleeping. Still haven’t been able to get post op pain meds, I guess I’ll get them after the surgery. EKG came back with a couple weird things but I don’t think they will cancel because of it. I have the ice machine I hear is a game changer. I’m so thankful for all of your advice and support. It was very helpful. I’ll try to update with experience, progress and pain.
Also it will be a reverse replacement.

61F , Replacement surgery scheduled for next week. Other than having a driver the day of the surgery, will I be okay on my own after that?
Also, I’m wondering if recovery/sleeping would be better in a recliner? Or if I should get wedge pillows for sleeping.
