Hajj preparation & Checklist | Webapp

Assalamu Allikum

I plan to perform hajj this year insha'Allah and I’d like to share this web app for anyone planning to perform Hajj this year or in the near future.

After attending seminars, researching, and doing everything I could to prepare for Hajj, I ended up with so many saved links, notes, and resources scattered everywhere. I thought, why not bring everything together into one place?

So I built (vibe coded) this two simple web app to help organise useful Hajj resources and information in an easy-to-access format:

https://faisaltheparttimecoder.github.io/hajj

https://faisaltheparttimecoder.github.io/1000-duas-for-arafah/

It can be installed as app on the phone as a home screen app i.e. select "Add to Home screen"

It’s completely open source, so if you spot anything incorrect or would like to contribute, feel free to check out the project here:

Hope it helps

Hajj preparation & checklist | Webapp

Hello,

It's me again. For the past many days I've been attending seminars, researching, and doing everything I can to prepare for Hajj. I had so many saved links, notes, and resources scattered everywhere, so I thought, why not bring it all together into one place?

I built a free web app that might benefit any Hujjaj performing Hajj this year or in the future, inshaa Allah.

Hajj Companion: https://faisaltheparttimecoder.github.io/hajj/

Here's what it includes:

  • Checklist: documents, health, Ihrām, packing, and spiritual preparation, all tickable so you don't miss a thing
  • Umrah Guide: step-by-step from home departure through Tawaf, Sa'i, and completing your Umrah
  • Hajj Day-by-Day: every day from the 7th to the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, with rites, duas, locations, and common edge cases
  • Duas: Arabic, transliteration, and English for every key moment
  • Madinah Guide: presenting Salam, visiting the Rawdah, Jannat al-Baqi', and making the most of your time there
  • Glossary: 60+ Islamic terms explained clearly
  • It works fully offline: once loaded, you don't need internet. Perfect for when you're in Mina with no signal.
  • No login. No tracking. No ads. Just a simple tool to help you stay organised and present during the most important journey of your life. May Allah accept from all of us. 🤲

It’s completely open source, so if you spot anything incorrect or would like to contribute, feel free to check out the project here: https://github.com/faisaltheparttimecoder/hajj

In my previous post on Reddit, many people requested Arabic translations for the duas, I’m happy to share that this feature has now been added. Thanks from a brother via Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/hajj/comments/1t6jgzd/1000_duas_for_arafah/

If you find an error in any dua, translation, or guidance, please open an issue or pull request on GitHub. Religious accuracy is the highest priority.

1000 Duas for Arafah

Assalamu Alaikum everyone,

I’m part of the Rawaf group travelling for Hajj this year. A list of duas was shared by the Rawaf team for use during the Day of Arafah, and I’ve vibe coded and turned it into a simple website that I hope will be useful for everyone.

You can access it here:
https://faisaltheparttimecoder.github.io/1000-duas-for-arafah/

The code is open source and available here:
https://github.com/faisaltheparttimecoder/1000-duas-for-arafah

JazakAllahu Khair.
