Oberon CLU-1260 install question

Oberon CLU-1260 install question

Hey guys.
Swapping out the slave cylinder on my 2018 1260s. Oberon’s web site says the CLU-1260 fits my model but if it is it’s not a direct bolt on. The original had a black section on it shown in the pic. Does that come off somehow?

1260s trouble shooting help after belt replacement.

Hi all
As the title suggests I’m looking for some troubleshooting advise.
Recently did the annual service on my 2018 1260s and decided to also replace the belts as they hadn’t been replaced yet.
I used both the service manual and the below vid for reference…as I did not want to take off the valve covers.
https://youtu.be/f3q9VguJobs?si=RFkITm-thqsh81Xa

So I got the crank mark line up with the mark on the clutch cover, the four cam gear pulleys(variators)marks lined up with the heads flat surface with horizontal in TDC compression. Put in the TDC too to lock the crank and put in the cam locks(3d printed ones). This is where I deviated from the service manual as I didn’t pull off the valve covers and did not use the Ducati camshaft locking tool.
Then I marked and pulled the belts. At this point I also used an aftermarket TDC control tool on the crankshaft gear to make certain I was in the correct TDC configuration.
Put the belts back on and set tension to the horizontal belt to 110+-5 hz. Then rotated crank 270 degrees and set tension on vertical belt to same.

Put plugs back in and tank back on.

Bike will turn over but not fire.

Bike ran fine before service
Have spark
No faults on the ECU
Will turn fine with only air noise by hand.
Have not check compression yet( need tool that.

About to throw in the towel and take it to the Ducati mechanic.
Don’t see how I could have messed the belts up but can’t think of anything else, and I really don’t want to trash the engine.

TIA for any help you may have
Doug
