I got a bunch of comments from my posts about my map previously so I decided to cut them up into individual maps and I think they look way better as presentable to the players once they get a region map. I think I homebrewed a really fleshed out and fun campaign and i'm excited to see how my players interact with the world. I start my first session in a few days and I am little nervous because I left a good amount of room to improvise based on the interactions between players and NPCs so I hope I nail it. Does anyone have any advice for a someone who is about to go into their first session as a DM? Will take literally any advice on how I can make my session more fun for others.

First time DM, about to start campaign

So my group of friends decided that we wanted to pick up DnD again after taking a break for a few years and I have taken up the role of DM for our campaign. This is my first time doing so and I'm not too experienced in the whole map making process. I've spent a few hours on this over the past couple of days and I don't think it looks bad, I would just like some pointers on what I could improve or advice for my world.

(If you know the name of the plagiarized locations for my map, you can see all the source materials I am pulling from for this world lol. I plan to change them I just wanted to use them as inspiration)
