Are these difficult to rebuild and CLA?

Also wondering how well the 300mm pairs with a teleconverter 1.4x or 2x?

Picked one up recently for around £80, dust, mild haze, a small amount of fungus and a few spots on the inside of the front element, housings are pristine as are the coatings on the glass itself. Found the exploded diagrams on the dementix website and it's not a simple lens going off the diagram, may have to start with my 50mm F1.8 and 28mm f2.8 OM glass to get a feel of how they are put together. CLA cost will be as much or more than the lens itself is worth.
