So I'm just looking for a spare motorcycle I can keep around to ride when my Norden is in for service or friends visiting.

I got two otd quotes:

$6000 for 2026 ibex 450

$7499 for Kle 500 SE

Is the KLE $1500 more? It doesn't have cruise control either. Similar torque and a little more horsepower.

Both seem solid to me. The Kawasaki has a nod the brands reputation for reliability, but I think the Ibex will be plenty reliable.

Use: day rides on paved and forest roads and lots of gravel.
