Hi everyone,
I’ve been dealing with left-side chest pain for almost a year now, and I’m honestly stuck.
- The pain is not at a single pinpoint spot — it can move around the left chest and paint at back. And my sternum makes pop-up sound.
-On touch I can feel the pain and even for mild physical activity like walking and laughing also triggers pain and it gets worse when I’m stressed, scared, or excited.
-I’ve consulted multiple doctors and tried different medications — no real improvement.
Recently, I took a pain relief injection (for suspected costochondritis) from a pain specialist, but it’s been 2 weeks and there is zero change.
I’ve also tried physiotherapy, stretches, heat/ice therapy nothing helped.I also did all cardiac tests,MRI CT scans all were normal.
One neurologist even said it might not be costochondritis, since the pain is not localized and the injection didn’t work.
Now I’m confused:
Could this still be costochondritis?Does a backpod helps now?I tried with placing ball at my back but it didn't helped much.
Or could it be something like nerve-related pain, muscle imbalance, or anxiety-related chest pain?
Has anyone experienced something similar where injections didn’t help?
This has been going on for a long time and it’s affecting my daily life. Any insights or similar experiences would really help.
Thanks in advance 🙏
