I took the English assessment, which is the assessment you take before ever stepping foot on campus for any of your classes,and I failed it, so I had to be placed in English 100, remember I have never taken a college class in my life, and I just woke up my parents tell me that I have been put onto academic probation

My parents are known for lying so I am kinda skeptical, what do you guys think, am I really on academic probation
