Can A UV Board Really Make Printing Easier At Home?

I am going to my friend’s workshop yesterday. I see a uv board lying on the table. It look flat and white. I touch it and it feel smooth but little cold. I feel curious because it look simple but maybe really useful for printing or arts. One corner is little chipped.

I am thinking why uv boards are popular now. People dont just use normal paper or plastic sheets anymore. I feel curious because some boards feel strong and flat but some scratch or warp fast. Maybe material and thickness matter more than color. It make me wonder if all uv boards are same or some are really better for printing and craft work.

I take my phone and start checking while scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba. I see uv boards in many sizes and types. Some small some big. Some plain some with special coating. Some light some heavy. I read few reviews where people say some boards feel strong and last long others scratch or warp fast. It feel like picking right one really matter if you want smooth and easy printing or crafting.

Now I am thinking which uv board is really better for daily printing or art projects? Are small simple ones more usefull or big fancy ones with coating better choice?
