My Cartier Panthère Ring

My first Cartier purchase, a ring I had my eye on for a long time. The price increases every year, but it will always remain in my heart as my favorite jewelry piece 🐆✨

created an app to fix my skin: before & after

two years ago, I moved to Korea from California. Maybe due to the changes in climate, diet, and overall stress of being in a new country, my skin became the worst it had ever been. In 2024 - 2025, I struggled with acne breakouts, redness, and dryness. Summers here are really hot and humid, and winters extremely cold and dry. I never left the house without wearing some form of BB cream or concealer, and I didn't even meet friends on some days because I was so self conscious.

Fast-forward to now, where I completely transformed my skin from a warzone to "glass skin". Last year, I joined my co-founder in building an app that scans your skin, perfects your routine, and helps you book with Korean skin experts (because K Beauty and Korean skincare must be doing something right to get famous for good skin).

I was really not pleased with the existing apps out there, because it's kind of like ChatGPT recommending you stuff that may or may not work. Venus Personal K-Beauty Coach is different because it matches you with a human Korean skin doctor and allows you to book consults at a serious fraction of an in-person clinic visit.

I also started studying Korean skincare science, focusing on the ingredients behind their routines. Venus integrates specific ingredients and products into your skincare routine, matches you with a doctor, and also delivers these products right to your door. I have been following a very strict regimen recommended by the Korean doctors in our network, and the proof is in my personal results. The proprietary AI-driven technology in our face scans is also the app's strength, because we take your skin and deliver a report to your doctor who reviews it and matches you with products that work.

Apps can be your pocket coaches, and when there is a human on the other end, I think that is what apps these days are missing. I hope you can join me on your own personal skincare journey, and glow up with venus :))
