I'm currently writing a Young Justice fanfic and IMO, I didn't like how season 2 had this huge time skip and introduced too many characters. So, I want to change that in my fanfiction but I'm struggling with how to adjust things.

So this question is particularly for those who also didn't like the time skip and extra characters.

How would you adjust the plot starting from season 2, all the way to season 4, if it stuck with the OG team of Robin, KF, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, Zatanna and Rocket only? Without the 5-year time skip, that is.
