[MI] Will I have to pay back my sign on bonus if I put in resignation prior to the required commitment time

Hi, I have a 3 month notice period and am looking to leave my job after serving 2 years there, but not have to repay my sign on bonus, which requires a 2 year commitment. Because I have to give such a long notice, I would prefer to put in notice for 3 months prior to my 2 year start date and then continue working there until my resignation date. Would I be at risk of paying back my bonus once I put in notice, even if I continue to work at the company for the full 2 years? There's no specific language in my contract saying otherwise, but I also assume the company will do whatever it can to try to get the money back. Also, my contract states that I do not have to pay back the money if I am terminated.

The bonus is not pro rated unfortunately.
