These are for my mom. She always says the same thing whenever I want to buy her something nice: “If it can be worn, it’s good enough.”
But recently I was looking through some of her old photos, and it honestly hit me a little. When she was younger, she loved dressing up way more than I do now. She looked so stylish, so lively, and you could tell she really enjoyed making herself look nice.
Somewhere along the way, life became less about that for her. She became practical, careful, always putting other people first. Now when I ask what she wants, she almost always says she doesn’t need anything.
So this pair feels a little more emotional than I expected. It’s not just a pair of sandals — it feels like a small reminder that she deserves beautiful things too.
Ben sent over the PSPs, and I’m honestly really excited about these. Hoping she’ll love them, and maybe when she wears them, she’ll remember that version of herself too — the one who loved to dress up, and still deserves to.
