Hi all, I'm aware this is a bit of a silly question - but I'm struggling to decide whether to study abroad or not this year. My university has offered to pay for 2 months worth of me studying abroad (split across 2 different countries) - but I can't convince anyone to come with me as a friend 🥲
I'm really shy in general, and would really love to take these opportunities, but I'm terrified of being lonely the entire time/everyone else already having friends 😭
I was just wondering if anyone has advice on how hard it is to make friends on exchange (especially these shorter stints) & whether it would be worth going. Otherwise I could wait another year or two and see if the university will offer it again, and maybe by then I'll have a friend who's willing to come? 🥲
