Hi,

I am looking to purchase the gen3 what are the discounts that I can avail in the showroom and apart from that the important accessories that are recommended.

Trying to buy an LG 8kg washing machine, but honestly getting overwhelmed with all the “AI”, WiFi, app control stuff. I really don’t care about any of that.

What I actually want is pretty simple:

• Proper soak → wash cycle (not just a quick prewash gimmick)
• Built-in heater (important for me)
• A clear time remaining display (I want to know what’s going on, not guess)
• Good wash quality
• Something that’s reliable and lasts years

That’s it. No fancy features needed.

From what I’ve seen, most LG front loads have heater + Direct Drive motor which is supposed to be quieter and more durable, but I’m not sure how good the soak functionality actually is in real use.

So a few questions:

• Which LG 8kg models actually have a proper soak phase?
• Does the soak cycle work well in front loads or is it just basic?
• Any models I should avoid because of reliability or annoying issues?
• If you’ve used one long-term, how’s the experience?

Just looking for something that cleans properly and works without drama.
