Is this too far back?

I get good eye relief and it’s comfortable but I see everyone have their lpvo inline with the charging handle so I’m wondering if I’m doing something incorrect?

What bike out of these options should I get?

I want something to go moto camping and occasionally driving to work or around town when it’s sunny

Also I want it to be secondary as a bug out vehicle I will be buying it brand new

My options I’m looking at are a xt250 a dr650 and a crf300l

Any thoughts from yall would he recommended
