I have gcses 99998887666, predicted A*A*A*A* at alevel in maths, fm, physics, bio, and rejected from both bath and bristol for aero, being offered robotics and physics as alternate courses. Rejected from cambridge post interview w/ 5 ESAT.

I am thinking of doing a gap year as i heard that universities may favour achieved grades rather than 'inflated' predicteds?

What are the chances of getting into bath for aero with 4A*s achieved next year? And what would i need to do on a gap year to show that i am keeping up my maths/ any engineering work experience?

I have an offer from sheffield for aero, so i still have a very solid option - Im just weighing up the possibilities of my chances next year.

I'd rather not do a gap year as id quite like to just get into uni as the course will be 5 years (with MEng and placement), but I kinda love bath and really wanna go (and maybe some money after working for a year might be nice).
