Just to vent...PMAP award and annual "raise" doesn't offset gas/childcare/increased health insurance since being back in office

I'm tired... I spend 2.5 hours each day in the car to get to/from work, taking time away from my infant, to show up to a job where the leaders are doing everything possible to drive us out of our jobs. I'm making more than I ever have but bringing home less this year than I did last year because my health insurance premium went up. And then subtract childcare and fuel from that to do a job that historically (even pre-covid) my team has always done remotely. Now we got news that our PMAP award is being decreased... I've been looking for a side job so I don't have to overdraft every month. But I love my job. Like the actual work part of it (even though now, we are barely able to do it thanks to recent restrictions from HHS). And the people I work for. And two years ago, I felt like I actually made a difference in the world. *exasperated sigh*

I’m wondering if the public is aware of how she has strategically silenced comms coming out of a lot of CIO’s, but maybe that experience isn't as agency-wide as I believe?
