▲ 8 r/ASUS

To anyone who works in the Printing Industry and relies on Color Accurate monitors I feel that I must warn anyone and everyone to avoid ASUS ProArt Monitors by all means!!! We've always used EIZO "professional quality" monitors in the past and this year I suggested we go with ASUS as they are cheaper but supposedly do the same as the EIZO monitors. Our purchasing team was cool with us ordering 8 of these monitors and low and behold one of them arrived completely damaged. The box was in good shape, there were no signs of damage on the monitor itself but after powering it on, the internals of the screen were cracked and destroyed. We know things like this can happen - getting a broken/defective monitor from ASUS is possible - but what is NOT cool is them refusing to cover it and charging another $1500 to get it "fixed". Mind you, this monitor is beyond fixable and from the photos included with the RMA it was VERY CLEARLY shipped this way.

Going forward we will never, and I mean never, buy ASUS products again and I cannot stress enough that any company doing professional video/printing work NEVER buy ASUS as well. Its very well known that ASUS has the most "scammy" customer service and I can verify/guarantee that they will NOT stand by any products they sell. You would be better off buying professional grade equipment - I learned my lesson and I hope I can save other people the nightmare of dealing with ASUS products in the future.
