I just adopted a 3 year old male cat, he was recently neutered 3 days ago. He is extremely affectionate, constantly following me around and enjoys being pet. I’m using my spare bed room that’s relatively small to house the cat before I introduce him to my dog. He’s eaten 1/2 of dry kibble that I added water to and has yet to use the litter box after 12 hours. Is this normal behavior, I used the same litter as used in the shelter he was housed in

Update: removed high walls from litter box and he went with no issue
