tell me the joy of having a cat!
my family don’t believe cats can be fun. they love animals but definitely prefer dogs over cats. i have wanted a cat for a while now but they think that’s crazy. it is unlikely i will ever get a cat but i still want to convince them that cats can be really cool! we had an orange one they loved but let roam outside and it ended badly. then we got two sisters who hated each other and they rehomed them. i was super young and not able to influence this.
i’m an adult now (21) and i am going to volunteer for a cat rescue and if i find a cat i really love, i may want to take it home with me. what could i tell my parents to influence their opinion on cats? they truly believe cats aren’t able to be funny or pleasant. again, it is very unlikely i will get a cat but i still want to think about it!
