so i went to the doctor and as per usual, they tried pushing birth control onto me. sat there as he pulled up a chart of how effective each birth control option is. it showed that a condom is only like 70% effective at preventing pregnancy? i don’t understand. why do some sources say it’s like 98% effective? i understand user error but it doesn’t seem like a doctor should be telling me condoms are only 70% effective regardless of user error. i just feel like im being judged because im not on bc right now? how effective are condoms really? i’m so confused why they push bc so hard
