I will definitely yap about my character. I’m thinking of naming him Rowan.

My book is set in the mid 1950 and centered around a man named Rowan who’s about 20 and has been a slave for 17 years at a place known as The Scar. The Scar is a volcanic canyon that holds a rare mineral called Partite that is used as a much more powerful coal substitute when exposed to high amounts of heat. Rowan has half accepted his roll and half hates everything about Vardendell(the city that owns The Scar.) The story follows Rowan as him and as entire station are caught in a man made cave in that shows Rowan that he can launches a 3 ton rock across the cave without touching it. Rowan is then saved by a group known as the Ashen who says the goal is to destroy Vardendell’s government and claims the Rowan has a very special ability only 1 in 10000 have. The book later reveals that the Ashen may be even worse than Vardendell and everything Rowan has done in the name of the organization may be more morally grey than he imagined.
