Would it be ok for me to get a service dog?

This might be a long read but Im 18 and I am interested in finding out if It would be justified for me to get a service dog due to my medical and psychiatric conditions I don't want to just get 1 and feel like Im overreacting or be one of those people who don't really need 1 and make it everyone's problem and look for confrontation since most likely the dog wouldn't be leashed to preform task. I would still vest them solely because of the fact that I don't want unnecessary problems and would just rather it be seen that they were a service dog and not just a pet in public places. Without getting into why I do want to say I suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) a few years back which causes a number of issues on its own but on top of the problems from that I'm diagnosed with POTS and severe PTSD from the event that caused my TBI, which often causes intense anxiety attacks and episodes that can trigger or worsen my POTS symptoms. My conditions significantly impact my daily functioning and ability to safely complete everyday tasks on my own and I normally have to have someone with me to make sure I don't enter an episode while alone but it's not always possible to be with someone 24/7 and I'm getting closer to moving out on my own which I would be by myself mostly and I want to gain some independence and not be trapped in my house because I'm scared to leave alone and there are times when my symptoms limit me from retrieving medications, my phone, getting water, or managing basic daily activities. I also struggle to 100% tell whether I am experiencing a PTSD trigger or the beginning of a POTS episode and when I can, normally when my PTSD is triggered it causes me to enter a POTS episode which can make situations feel very overwhelming and mostly unsafe because When I faint, I often wake up feeling disoriented, confused, and unsure of where I am or what happened, which makes it difficult to regain control of the situation on my own. I have talked to multiple of my doctors and my therapist and they believe a service dog could help by assisting with tasks, providing medical and emotional support, and helping me maintain more independence and stability in daily life. I would mainly like to know if other people agree and if so I was wondering if I could train a dog myself with a guide from trainers or if it would just be better to either get a fully trained dog or get a puppy and get it professionally trained. I will be financially responsible for my dog as I'm still living at home but I would have more than enough to care for anything my dog would need such as food and vets etc , and would be able to afford either option for training but if I don't have to spend thousands on training i definitely wouldn't mind lol. I would appreciate any feedback and advice for possibly going into the journey of getting a service dog. Thank you for your time.
