Hi, within the last 6 months, whenever my Romanian shepherd goes for a wee, she will make these weeping, earful and discomforting noises right after. She will then go down and lick her private parts for a minute or two whilst still making these sounds. We carry on the walk, it is pick and mix whether or not she carried on after this, sometimes she will carry on fine, other times she will have the same discomfort, but eventually carry on walking again. I have attached a video which is completely new now. We have tried bathing her “private parts” and “back area” in general, she would make the same noises as in the video, it was horrible. But this is now her belly, as you can see in the video, I was stroking as close as I could to her chest (fur area) and she was making these horrible noises. I didn’t want to record this for as long as I did but I didn’t think the sound would pick up as well as it did. I don’t won’t to hurt my girl and she hasn’t moved an inch since I created the video, she trusts me.
The vet asked for a urine sample. But I’m curious to know, since this is now spreading to the belly which it wasn’t causing pain there 2/3 weeks ago, is there any sort of idea of what this could be? The vet says they need a urine sample which is understandable. But this isn’t urine related. It’s now virtually in her chest
Okay so this post won’t allow me to post the video but she is a large dog and whenever I give her belly rub just below the hair on her chest meets the belly without hair she welps. If you need the video just PVT me.
