Has anyone who lives in Washington lost luggage in Vancouver and then had to go back to pick it up?
We arrived in Vancouver 2 days ago but our luggage did not. We live about 2 hours south of Vancouver, in Washington. We filed the report at the KLM desk at the YVR airport and the agent told us since we live in the US that the only way we can get our luggage when it does arrive is to come back up and get it because the courier can't drive across the border. However, apparently the courier will meet us at a Chevron close to the border. That really sucks! We have to make close to a 4-hour round trip to get our bags when KLM is the one who screwed up!
