Plot Armor Isn’t A Reasonable Critique In Powerscaling

I’ve seen the occasional post or comment expressing distaste for supposed instances of plot armor in KnY, even in some cases using it to discredit certain feats and such. I’d be inclined to find this notion quite silly, as there isn’t anything in a story that happens independently of the plot. Everything in a story happens “because of plot”. Even outside of these semantics, things like Tanjiro unlocking the Selfless State or Akaza regrowing his head may seem ridiculous or impossible, but these are things that happened in the story and saying that they’re plot armor is reductive and a pointless critique since it means nothing. The more reasonable thing to do is to try and come up with a reasoning for decisions you find strange, even if they may seem strange at first.

Inosuke Has Very Good Endurance

He’s chewing this fish skeleton and speaking while one of the ribs have evidently pierced his gums, as shown by the darkened color of the bone on the bottom right. This should hurt far more than Inosuke is showing. I’d say that Inosuke’s endurance is the only thing we’re supposed to gain from this panel. There’s absolutely nothing else relevant to power scaling on this panel.

Can Any Demon Slayer Character Stop This Creature’s Gluttonous Quest For Metamorphosis?

This is presuming that the caterpillar is hungry until it eventually reaches the point where it forms its chrysalis and stuff. I won’t spoil any more of this story, it’s really better to experience it yourself.

Is This A Valid Feat For SCP-096 Or Is It An Outlier?

For context, the SCP Foundation threw SCP 096 into the sun to try and kill it, but once they showed a picture of 096 to a D Class the sun began getting closer to the Earth. Presumably 096 had been moving the sun manually, but this is a massive outlier of its strength from what other 096 tales I’ve consumed. The current idea I have is that 096 only has the strength, speed, or whatever specifically to hunt a given 096-1, but that there is an upper limit to this adaptability since the sun seems to be moving comparatively slowly since it’s been observed for a week and is “beginning” to decay.

I Was Kind Of Hoping For Myself To’ve Obtained Any Semblance Of Relevancy According To Google AI But This Was Moderately Interesting I Guess Too

For power scaling though it should take roughly 20 Gyutaro suicide bombs to destroy Hawaii.

I Focused Way Too Much Of My FRQ On Russian Alaska

Don’t make the same mistake I did if this exact same FRQ comes up 40+ years from now.

Would Tengen’s MST Work On Denji (Chainsaw Man)?

Since in this instance he’s inadvertently outmaneuvering mind control, I’d assume he’d be able to counter MST in a similar manner, no?

Uh oh! Kanao Was Evil All Along! Which Demon Slayer Would Prove To Give Her The Toughest Fight?

What I’m basically asking here is which character she’s closest in strength to. But she does look devious as hell in this image.

This is a post from the ”TopCharacterTropes” subreddit, but is not a character, is not a trope, and is something that the original poster disliked. This calls into question why exactly it was posted there, since it doesn’t fit whatsoever. It’s already a little irksome that there are so frequently posts on the aforementioned subreddit that are not at all “Top”, but really I don’t think it matters all that much since they’re at least tropes. But this is not a trope. It is just somebody complaining about people’s opinions in a subreddit where this is totally not what it was made for.

I mean, we never see her eye before it has the “4” in it, and Daki and Gyutaro have shown that a position in the Twelve Kizuki can be shared. Nakime is at the Upper Ranks meeting, which only includes Upper Ranks (+ Muzan).

I don’t think that the UM rankings are based on strength but that seems to be an unpopular opinion so I’d like to know if y’all think the UM strength rankings are intuitive even without their eye numbers.

It’s described as like a transcendent fighting technique and even Akaza and presumable Kokushibo couldn’t attain it. I don’t think anyone without some sort of divine assistance could achieve it.

Fahrenheit 451 (Ray Bradbury)

VS

We Have Always Lived In The Castle (Shirley Jackson)

The Lottery (Shirley Jackson)

The Metamorphosis (Franz Kafka)

1984 (George Orwell)

Hamlet (William Shakespeare)

Macbeth (William Shakespeare)

Disclaimer: This is a rough ordering of the series, I if you think that some of these are better than others you don’t need to follow the gauntlet format.

Whenever I see discussion regarding Muzan’s intelligence, it’s generally rather negative, to say the least. Something I don’t infrequently see brought up is how dumb it was for him to kill the Lower Moons. But really, how dumb of a decision really was it? The Hashira of this generation are monstrously powerful, and the Twelve Kizuki should still be able to at least contend with Hashira. It’s like the bare minimum for being a part of the organization. When it gets to the point that one of them (Lower 4, Mukago) is too afraid to even fight a Hashira it’s not insane to me that Muzan would lose faith in their abilities, particularly in light of the strength of this generation.
