Is it just me, or was early PK’s choreography heavily inspired by Michael Jackson?
I was rewatching some old songs of Power Star (especially from the Thammudu, Badri, and Kushi era) and noticed something interesting. A lot of his signature moves—the quick feet, the hand gestures, and even that specific rhythmic "twitch"—seem heavily inspired by Michael Jackson.
Obviously, PK has his own unique "swag" and effortless style, but the MJ influence in the choreography is undeniable. MJ was famous for making small moves look iconic; PK did the same with his simple yet stylish steps.
Costumes: PK often wore layered outfits (hoodies over shirts, double shirts) which added to the visual "flow" of his dancing. And might be this styling was influenced by american hiphop/street wear of that era.
What do you guys think? Any specific songs where you see the MJ vibe the most?
