I asked a few days ago why after a favorable C&P the raters would request another Medical Opinion? Since then I have seen this question asked numerous times on Reddit and FB. Is this the new normal? And if so Why? Kinda costly?

I had the best C&P examiner. He spent 50 minutes going over everything and actually using a goniometer to measure ROM. He was respectful and not condescending DBQs and Medical opinion were 28 pages. Then BOOM rater asks for a second medical opinion ACE review because there was inconsistencies from the 1st C&P which was garbage and lasted 6 minutes with no details. And this one? Is this normal. Wouldn’t they want a comprehensive detailed exam?
