I'm trying to get CPT for my internship. Who is the "major department advisor" we're supposed to fill out on the VIS portal? the link just goes to the CEAS page. i'm confused if it's an advisor or the actual program director. anyone who's been through the process before? How long does it take to get a new i20?

Last year I wasn't able to get authorized on time, got fired and it all turned into a hot mess. Is it too late to apply for this year (I applied at a similar time last year)? With finals coming up I am already super stressed. I cannot do this anymore lol.
