Now this is probably a stupid question but which side are you when it comes to drum covers. Do you play EXACT notations or do you actually have alot more fun, improvise, add your style, chops etc. I’ve seen these complaints on yt comments where some people complain about people not playing the right notes or like “overplaying” take COOP3RDRUMM3R for instance many complain that he’s not sticking to the actual drumming and then there’s some people who defend him saying that it’s a called a “DRUM COVER” for a reason because it’s where you are meant to show off your skill and have fun as long as you are playing in time.
