5.5 weeks post-op, skin numbness spreading?
I had a 2-level mas tlif @ L3-5 on 3/31. I have 4 Incisions, 2 on either side of my lumbar spine. (See pic, white arrows are new incisions from this sx, middle incision is from last year so ignore that one).
After sx I noticed numbness on my right side between the top and bottom incisions, figured it was just from surgical trauma and was not concerned. Then I started with numbness in a small area on my right side/side of hip... (this is actually accompanied by horrific "sunburn" sensations but this is some other weird issue and isn't the reason for my post).
Tonight I noticed the skin numbness near my right sided incisions has suddenly spread upward and center and now nearly the entire area between the 2 large incisions is completely numb to the touch.
I rub my back/incisional area constantly and it wasn't like this last night.
Has anyone experienced this?
