Hello, I am trying to install a ceiling fan in a new build by Lennar, but I am running into a concern. I know that the electrical box is considered fan-rated.
In my original light fixture, I had three wires (I attached a pic of these connections for reference:
Yellow wire from the wall connecting to a black wire from the light.
White wire from the wall connecting to a white wire from the light.
Black wire coming from the wall that appears to just be capped off and not connecting to anything in the light.
Can anyone help me figure out where to connect these in my ceiling fan? My concern is that I don't have a green grounding wire for my fan. Please let me know if anyone could help. I also attached a pic of what I currently have based on the instructions. I left the original black wire by itself, but there is no green wire to connect to the three double-colored wires.
