[SOTC] 2 Years Collecting- How am I doing? Open to Compliments, Questions or Witty Insults

Got into collecting after my late grandfather gifted me his gold Omega Seamaster DeVille 6 months before he passed away. Have been enjoying the hobby and feel connected to him through it. I'm not a “one brand / one style” type. I like divers and tool watches and vintage and neo vintage dress pieces and pops of color.

A few highlights:

My grandfather’s 14k Omega Seamaster De Ville from the 60s (my most meaningful piece. It was his father in law's/my great grandfathers watch before him)

Seiko Alpinist Glacier- when I saw it, I knew I had to get it. The dial is insane, GS level dial colors, changes in the light and I get a ton of compliments on it.

Rolex Explorer 36. My GADA. Understated which I prefer. Prob the only Rolex I would consider owning.

Current collection:

  • 1960s 14k Omega Seamaster De Ville
  • Rolex Explorer 36
  • Neo Vintage Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 7551
  • Neo Vintage rectangular Oris Pointer Date B7460
  • Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Skin Diver Black- got this for a couple hundred and am a big fan
  • Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Compression Blue- got this for a couple hundred and am a big fan
  • Seiko Prospex Alpinist Glacier Mountaineer Extreme Dragon SPB339J1- LE Chinese Market
  • Seiko SRPG37 field watch
  • Trafford Crossroads Season 2 “Texas Peach” (love the pop of color)
  • Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline Auto (my son likes this one, will prob give it to him soon)
  • Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch “Mission to the Moon” (I had to)
  • Casio AE1200 “Casio Royale”
  • Fossil Blue BQ-9260 (not pictured in the box cuz I was wearing it. My wife bought it for me when we were 18 and first dating, wore it daily for 10 years, then it broke, Fossil wouldnt/couldnt fix it and lost it and then found the exact same model on eBay 20 years later. Cost me like $25 and I love it. Like putting back on an old friend

What do you guys think? Anything I'm missing? I'm open to basically anything 39mm and smaller.

On my current wish list:

Been eyeing a Tudor BB58 black and gilt

A Speedmaster reduced or the 90s Speedmaster triple date- both are 39mm which I prefer (and I don't have a chono yet) and I like the idea of the tripledate better since it's different

Another 1-2 vintage Oris Pointer Dates, I freaking love those

A Baltic Pink Hermetique on a steal oyster bracelet (love the pop of color)
