So we have a family reunion planned for May or October 2027 and looking for hot tips for an AI that might be our Goldilocks option, with the following in mind…
*10-12 adults, 30s & 40s, some couples, some singles, no kids this time, four nights
*mid/ high budget. We’re not ballers by any stretch, but are celebrating a big milestone
*good food is a priority, several of us are chefs (but not food snobs). Not expecting to be blown away at all meals, but it can’t suck
*adults only preferred
*hoping for a swimmable beach within walking distance
*most of our time will be spent on resort, maybe one night out partying, don’t need to be too close to the action
*we will be drinking, but not in a Spring Break way…day time margaritas at the pool is more our speed
*group activities and a good spa/ sauna onsite would be a bones
Le Blanc looks great but may be slightly out of budget. Others in the shortlist = Secrets, PB Pacifica, Grand Solmar Lands End, Hacienda Del Mar, PB Sunset Beach, Marquis
Any recommendations from recent experiences, or suggestions for shortening our list?
Does anyone have experience negotiating better rates for a group this size?
