hi all,

we are from UK and thinking of buying a summer home in Portugal. We have been looking in Algarve but have fallen in love with a property in central Alentejo. It is a farm and in central Alentejo near a small village. The question we have is, what are winters like there, renting opportunists for others and we understand it wont the same high level tourism as Algarve but all info on it would be useful. According to our research winters can be very cold but are we talking UK level wind chill or bearable? thanks in advance.
