I have turned on the screen time “downtime” on my iPhone 17 to help keep me off social media during the day. 9am-9pm. I mainly just want to block access to social media/tv apps. I have everything else I want to be able to access 24/7 in the “allowed apps”, which is working for the most part. For some reason I cannot access Google, safari, or DuckDuckGo. They’re all listed on my “allowed apps” but they still won’t work.
I’m an adult, so there are no age restrictions.
I’ve also reset the screen time restrictions SEVERAL times in hopes of it working.
There are not “app limits” set for those either.
Sometimes I can look up several things in a row during the downtime, but then it will randomly say I’ve used all my time and won’t let me access it for a few hours. All during the 9am-9pm window.
PLEASE HELP. I can live without social media, but not being able to look stuff up is difficult.
