I feel like we all know life if crazy expensive but another new place we have felt it is at the vet.
Every one to two years we go for our regular shots and checks. We also go whenever puppy isn’t normal. We recently went a couple of months ago with some concerns but she turned out to be fine.
Usually our vet would give us the tick prescription if we had a recent appointment, which we just did, but now they are asking us to come pay exam fee again. Maybe this is standard for most but I feel like we’ve just been there. 12 years and two dogs with a solid history of good animal care.
Yes we could have asked but it has not been an issue in the past.
So where and how do you get your tick pills. I’ve heard Costco will now have them with a prescription but any cost friendly alternatives to the exam fee for my perfectly health pup?
(No it’s not for pills that require blood work. But that too came back clear and we have been giving our dog them since April so on pill 2 for this season that was left over from last year and not expired)
