Hi! I’d love some help with choosing what neighborhood to move to. I’m moving from FL to complete my masters at NU and never been to Chicago before. I’m a 22F moving with a small puppy and would love to move somewhere with city views. At the same, I want to make sure it’s enough move around space for my dog. Diversity is very important for me too, so I’d love a neighborhood where I’m not constantly sticking out like a sore thumb or anything like that.
I would be commuting to Evanston for classes, so extra plus if I’m somehow not too far from there or close to transportation. I know there’s a shuttle but I’m not quite sure on what neighborhoods it goes too either.
I feel like I’m making a lot of request, and feel free to snap me into reality. I’d love and appreciate any advice. But, all I know is, Chicago has been my dream home and it’s finally happening. I know I’ll find my place but I don’t want to do it blindly. Would love to hear your thoughts :)
