I’ll remember this at bat forever.
My son is a 10yo power hitter. He’s had a problem stepping out (still had a high avg) since he started playing two years ago and it was something we worked on heavily during the offseason. This at bat proved to me that he is capable of hanging with the best of the best. The pitcher was throwing much harder than anybody he’d ever faced, and he crushed it. Edited to add: It’s the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever experienced to have helped him get to this point. No money on lessons. No money spent at hitting facilities. Just a dad teaching his kid how to hit at the local ballpark.
