I’ve been riding for just over a week now, do you think something such as a Marin San Quentin 2 would be much better then my xc at these kind of jumps?

The video isn’t to great but it’s the only one I have of my attempting a trick.

Right now I am riding a cube aim pro, however I am looking to upgrade to a Marin San Quentin 2 with 27.5 wheels and rockshox pikes select or ultimate.

I am hoping that if I upgrade I could learn tricks quicker and cleaner.

I am not getting a dj since I do rides over the forest every now and then but if I stick to this and get good I will get myself a dj.

Is a Marin San Quentin 2 with rockshox pike and 27.5 wheels good for dirt jumping?

I would get a dirt jumper but I need this bike for other stuff so I’m just wondering if anyone knows if this is a good build to learn some new tricks on dirt jumps.
